    Position Purpose Summary

    The Manager, IT Network/Security, role is responsible for prioritizing and overseeing the execution of corporate security policies. This position requires close integration with IT leadership to develop an appropriate security posture based on the business and technology needs. A qualified candidate will be both strategic in design and tactical in process and delivery. Positive leadership and direct interaction with all Business Units is required to successfully meet objectives.

    Responsibilities

    • Understands the company’s vision, mission, and strategy; understands business unit objectives and sets/accomplishes individual performance goals accordingly.
    • Strives to conduct all work in a manner that embodies continuous improvement, teamwork and integrity.
    • Reviews, update and/or create security policies related to the network, firewalls, endpoint protection, software patching and updates, associate training & awareness, identity management and other areas according to recognized security best practices.
    • Designs policies around Active Directory, Group Policy Management, and Administrative rights management.
    • Provides guidance on building and/or maturing information security programs and policies; implement tools and technologies used for enterprise security.
    • Aligns business technologies with information security standards and practices to minimize new risks as operational and technology changes are introduced.
    • Manages and orchestrate the delivery of client and server OS and application patches.
    • Oversees various physical security systems (DVR, CCT & HID Access Control)
    • Implements, Monitors and Manages IPS, IDS, SIEM and similar systems.
    • Audits the internal control systems to ensure appropriate access levels for SOX compliance.
    • Advises IT leadership on DLP, Business Continuity, and Backup and DR.
    • Advises IT leadership on the latest security updates, trends, and regulatory issues.

    Qualifications

    • 7+ years’ experience preferred; 3+ years required.
    • BS / BA Degree in related field preferred.  MS / MA / MBA a plus.
    • CISM, CISSP, PMP or similar certification preferred.
    • Strong background in network security.
    • Hands on technical ability around the use of tools for network monitoring, the analysis and identification of security vulnerabilities, and the implementation of security resolutions.
    • Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Leadership and project management skills.
