Position Purpose Summary:
Serves as an inside product manager on a district inside sales team. Core responsibilities encompass pricing, inventory, promotions, marketing and forecasting activities for assigned product category(ies). Facilitates all aspects of the sales process for assigned product(s) to include identifying new opportunities; developing sales solutions; closing sales opportunities; negotiating pricing; providing outstanding customer service and follow-up. Partners with other sales personnel to ensure sales efforts are maximized and opportunities uncovered. May also have inside sales responsibilities for existing accounts through inbound and outbound telephone calls. Approximately 70% of an associate’s time is spent on Product Management activities and 30% on Inside Sales activities.
