Position Purpose Summary:  


Works with business partners to identify and develop business/systems requirements and processes to aid in the development or enhancement of applications.


  • Understands the company’s vision, mission, and strategy; understands business unit objectives and sets/accomplishes individual performance goals accordingly.
  • Researches and evaluates alternative solutions for meeting business needs.
  • Develops and analyzes technical specifications for application components.
  • Codes or modifies application components based on design specifications, while adhering to defined programming standards, structured coding techniques, and development methodologies.
  • Performs maintenance and problem resolution on single or multiple applications or interfaces.
  • Prepares and/or maintains programming documentation, procedures, and methods; may prepare user manuals and reference materials.
  • Performs after hours support (on-call) on a rotational basis.


  • BA / BS required 
  • 5-7+ years of experience in related area of responsibility.  
  • Knowledge of general programming concepts across multiple platforms.
  • Knowledge of enterprise system functions (e.g. Distribution, Inventory, Accounts Payable, Order Entry/Invoicing, PO Entry/Stock Receiving).
  • Proven technical documentation skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot application issues with the drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite Software and relevant tools / technology.
  • Required-RPG II through RPGLE, RPGLE Embedded SQL, CLP, CLLE
