Position Purpose Summary: 

In this role, you will analyze monthly business results, assess strategic opportunities, perform complex ad hoc analysis, and identify performance gaps.  This person will develop reports and reporting tools that transform large amounts of data into actionable information.  This will be a prominent role in the organization that provides the opportunity for interaction with C-level executives.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ad hoc analytical studies in support of operational improvement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain financial reports to clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance and variances to budget and prior years
  • Complete monthly variance analysis and identify key business drivers
  • Create tools to facilitate the analysis of transactional data
  • Create materials for presentation to business leaders and regional directors

Qualifications:

  • BS or BA in Accounting, Business, Finance or a related discipline
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to present the results of complex analysis clearly and effectively to a wide range of business leaders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Access, including the ability to work with large datasets effectively
  • Experience with SQL, financial reporting systems and database navigation (or a strong technical orientation partnered with a willingness to learn)
  • Understanding of financial concepts and the levers which impact financial performance
  • Desire to grow and move up within the organization
